International festivals

At the end of a cycle of national activities, an international festival is held to bring together the winners of all the national competitions in an intensive week of information sharing and discussion.

The next International Science on Stage Festival will be held in Grenoble, from 2 to 6 April 2007. Teachers from 27 countries are expected to take part in this exciting event, which will showcase the very best of today's science education.

The Science on Stage 2 festival will involve approximately 400 science teachers who have been selected at the national level. The festival offers them a unique opportunity to exchange materials and ideas, to meet scientists, learn from them and work with them. They will be able to take part in the fair, in which each country showcases innovative science experiments and demonstrations; attend workshops devoted to science teaching resources, ideas or projects; and watch on-stage presentations which demonstrate innovative ideas for the communication of science ideas.
