Selected trends in AI for space

We published two chapters summarizing trends in AI that are currently being investigated in our team for space.
The first chapter focuses on differentiable intelligence, inverse design of materials and onboard machine learning:
https://arxiv.org/abs/2212.06662
The second chapter highlights neuromorphic computing and sensing as future technologies for space exploration:
https://arxiv.org/abs/2212.05236
We wish these chapters to contain a list of new results and ideas able to stimulate, in the coming years, the interest of practitioners and scientists and to inspire research directions further into the future.
