Adam Evans

I joined the Advanced Concepts Team as a visiting researcher in Advanced Mission Analysis in September 2024 for a few months.
I obtained my Masters Degree in Theoretical Physics from the University of Birmingham, and I am currently studying for my PhD at Te Pūnaha Ātea – The Space Institute, University of Auckland, New Zealand. My research mainly focuses on computing robust and autonomous guidance laws for interplanetary flight, in particular using differential algebraic techniques. I have also conducted research into space situational awareness and reachability analysis, and more recently investigated the use of deep neural networks to replicate optimal guidance policies.
