Flavio Tagliaferri

Hi! I have joined the ESA's Advanced Concepts Team as an Intern since March 2023, working on innovative ways of performing Space Mission Design in CR3BP by means of Machine Learning techniques.

I am currently attending the final-year of the MSc in "Space and Astronautical Engineering" at Sapienza University of Rome, with a focus on Mission Analysis, Space Guidance and Navigation Systems and System Engineering. I also have a strong interest in Artificial Intelligence and its applications in Space Missions, which I definitely would like to work with, in the future. At the end of 2020, I completed the BSc in "Aerospace Engineering" at the same University, which introduced me to design technologies and trends in the Space Engineer Scenario.

In my leisure time, I like doing sports such as swimming, surfing and going out with my friends. Moreover I used to be a National Level Swimming Athlete until 2021. Aloha!
