Navigation Innovation and Support Programme (NAVISP)
Goal
Facilitate the generation of innovative propositions in partnership with Member States and industry along the entire satellite navigation value chain and strengthen the existing industrial base of the European navigation sector.
Outcome
NAVISP will support European industry in succeeding in the highly competitive and rapidly-evolving global market for satellite navigation, and more broadly Positioning Navigation Timing technologies and services, while supporting ESA Member States in enhancing their national objectives and capabilities in the navigation sector

Impact
NAVISP will help to stretch ESA’s boundary beyond the technology and services usually found in the traditional satellite navigation area. NAVISP will facilitate the emergence of European champions in the navigation ecosystem and will enhance the European industrial competitiveness in existing and emerging non-EU solutions.
