Radio hams at ESRIN with AMSAT Italia
As part of European Researchers' Night, today at ESRIN, young radio hams have the chance to take part in radio amateur experiments, with AMSAT Italia.
AMSAT Italia is one of the international partners of the Amateur Radio on International Space Station (ARISS) programme, which aims to promote and organise ham radio contacts between school students and the ISS crew.
ESRIN hosts today's meeting of AMSAT Italia, which includes presentations about the most recent AMSAT activities on board the ISS and the achievements of the Envi-Ham, a project for the non-professional use of Envisat's Earth observation data.
All these presentations (in Italian and English) were streamed live on the web and are available below for replay.
