A new series of exhibitions by ESA and LEICA Camera
The European Space Agency and Leica Camera have recently joined forces in a new collaboration, launching a series of exhibitions that will tour major cities across Europe.
This collaboration combines the scientific expertise of ESA with the artistic vision of Leica’s cameras, showcasing how science and technology can engage in a dialogue with art and photography. With over twenty Leica galleries across Europe, the project offers a unique opportunity to captivate the attention of both space enthusiasts and those new to space activities. Through the creative and cultural lens of Leica, this collaboration aims to engage diverse audiences to inspire the next generations of artists and scientists.
A European tour: Milan, Paris, and beyond
As Europe leads the world in Earth observation with its constellation of cutting-edge satellites, the first three exhibitions will focus on forests, climate change, and protecting our planet. Through these photographic projects, visitors are treated to breathtaking imagery that illustrates the fragility of Earth’s ecosystems, captured through the innovative lens of Leica cameras.
The first two exhibitions of the series were recently unveiled in Milan and Paris, and others are planned in the future.
