The fifth Toulouse Space Show (TSS), organised by the French Space Agency, CNES, and numerous other partners will be held 28–30 June in Toulouse, France.

The TSS is a global forum dedicated to progress in space infrastructure, technologies and applications. More than 2000 participants from all over the world will take part in three days of conferences, roundtables and workshops. This year, ESA is participating in a number of events.

Speakers will include leading stakeholders, decision-makers, space agency directors, leaders of industrial groups and political figures. The meeting is a unique opportunity to bring together representatives of several communities – industrial groups, public officials and members of the civil, military and academic worlds – to discuss the most critical topics of the day:

  • international cooperation and capacity building,
  • innovations and disruptions,
  • geo-intelligence,
  • new uses, new objects linked to the digital transition,
  • space exploration (aimed at the general public and particularly students).

At the “Connected world and connecting space: benefits and opportunities” roundtable on 28 June, ESA expert Gunther Kohlhammer will present ESA’s digital agenda strategy and Frederic Nordlund will share the importance of building international cooperation.

ESA astronauts Léopold Eyharts, Claudie Haigneré and Thomas Pesquet live from Houston will take part in the exploration session “Go ahead and explore space” on 30 June. ESA’s Armelle Hubault will give an overview of the Rosetta mission.
