ExoMars at Cité de l'espace
The ExoMars programme comprises two missions: the first – the Trace Gas Orbiter – launched in 2016 while the second, which will carry the Rosalind Franklin rover, has a target launch date in 2028. Together they will address the question of whether life has ever existed on Mars.
Since 2021, in the Mars room of the Cité de l’espace permanent exhibition, visitors can embark on an extraordinary journey to unveil the mysteries of the Red Planet and follow its exploration through probes and rovers.
An educational video created by Cité de l’espace for this exhibition offers a detailed explanation of ESA’s ExoMars programme.
