EDRS briefing
A special media briefing on the European Data Relay System - EDRS - is taking place on Friday 15 January, at ESA HQ in Paris, following on from the Director General's annual meeting of the press.
Each EDRS partner will discuss a different facet of the programme and what benefits it will bring following the first launch on 27 January. Speakers will be the ESA Director General, ESA Director of Telecommunications & Integrated Applications, Magali Vaissiere, the ESA Director of Earth Observation, Volker Liebig, Airbus Head of CIS, Evert Dudok, DLR Director of Space Administration, Gerd Gruppe, and ESA EDRS Project Manager Michael Witting.
