Its optimised payload centric design provides one of the largest mission capacities on the market. And its scalable power system covers a 7 to 25 kW payload power.
Eurostar Neo introduces key technologies that contribute to its competitiveness. These ranges from innovative thermal appendages, such as a deployable panel radiator or east-west radiator using an electro-hydrodynamic pump, to state-of-the-art avionics.
ESA’s Eurostar Neo partnership project has federated European industry towards this next-generation satellite platform, achieving a competitive leap forward in the highly dynamic communication satellite market.
This was achieved thanks to the combined expertise and excellent collaboration of manufacturer Airbus, operator and first customer Eutelsat, ESA and the French space agency CNES.
