GMES and data

A recent study brings forward the idea that data from the upcoming Sentinel series of satellites should be regarded as Public Sector Information, increasing their value for money. The expected economic advantages deriving from a free and open policy for Sentinel data are graphically shown in this short cartoon where the Sentinel satellites are represented as 'geese laying golden eggs'.
