Ariane 502 on launchpad, 1997

Shortly before the successful launch of the second Ariane 5, flight 502/V101, from the ELA-3 complex at Kourou, French Guiana on 30 October 1997. The payloads on this testflight were the two instrumented MAQSAT platforms and TeamSat.
