ESOC ERS Control Room

The European Space Operations Centre (ESOC) in Darmstadt, Germany is ESA's facility for controlling ESA satellites through the ESTRACK network of ground stations. The ERS Dedicated Control Room (seen here) is used for controlling the two ERS satellites. ERS data are processed at Kiruna, Sweden and sent to ESRIN, Italy for distribution.
