The European astronaut Claudie Haigneré during her training in Star City, for the Andromède mission to the ISS (International Space Station), forseen for the end of October 2001, lasting 10 days. The research programme for the French-Russian mission Andromède, was defined and coordinated by the French space agency CNES. Claudie Haigneré will be the first European woman to work aboard the ISS (International Space Station).
