Ariane 5 main engine Vulcain

Vulcain is Ariane 5’s main engine. Its thrust chamber, developed and built in Germany, gives a thrust of about 3 million HP, consuming 243 kg of liquid propellant per second, reaching temperatures of up to 3250 degrees centigrade.
