Unlike in 2001, this year the Leonids will be very well visible from Europe. The meteor showers are expected every night between 13 and 21 November 2002.
Scientists expect the Leonids meteor shower to reach its peak at 04:00 CET, in Europe, and 10:30 on the night of 18-19 November 2002.
