Antenna mounted on van to measure signal reception

An antenna was mounted on a pole on the test van for Line-Of-Sight (LOS) measurements. Using a spectrum analyser, the antenna was pointed in a direction that achieved the best signal while notes were made of the effects of diffraction of signals caused by the building.
