James Clerk Maxwell, 1831-1879

One of the greatest scientists the world has known, Maxwell's research combined the fields of electricity and magnetism and introduced the concept of the electromagnetic field. He was born on 13 June 1831, in Edinburgh, Scotland. He died on 5 November 1879 in Cambridge, England.
