Max Planck (1858-1947)

Planck is ESA’s science mission which will look back at the dawn of time and study the ‘Cosmic Microwave Background’ (CMB). Planck was named after the German scientist Max Planck (1858-1947) who won the Nobel Prize for Physics in 1918.
