Tropical Storm Jeanne heading north from Haiti, acquired by Envisat's Advanced Along Track Scanning Radiometer (AATSR) on 20 September 2004. AATSR can provide imaging and also temperature data for land, sea and clouds. Above Haiti, partly obscured by cloud, are the small UK Turks and Caicos Islands. To its west, also cloudy, is part of Cuba. Below Haiti is Colombia on the South American mainland.
