Casablanca drilling platform near Barcelona, Spain

The Wind and Salinity Experiment, which was conducted between 2000 and 2001, aimed to measure microwave emission from the surface of the ocean for different sea-states. The experiment was performed from the Casablanca drilling platform in the Mediterranean Sea, about 50 km from Barcelona, Spain.
