The High Resolution Stereo Camera (HRSC) on board the ESA's Mars Express obtained this perspective view of Claritas Fossae from image data taken on 29 June 2004.
The image was taken during orbit 563 with a ground resolution of approximately 62 metres per pixel, looking south-east and showing a region centred around 25° South latitude and 253° East longitude.
This perspective view was calculated from the digital terrain model derived from the stereo channels.
