Toothfish

This is the endangered Patagonian Toothfish Dissostichus eleginoides. Conservation and management of the species is led by the Commission for the Conservation of Antarctic Marine Living Resources (CCAMLR) but according to TRAFFIC, the wildlife trade monitoring programme, its survival is under threat due to unregulated and illegal fishing across the Southern Ocean.
