Stowed solar arrays on Venus Express

Venus Express is nearing completion now as both gallium arsenide solar array 'wings' are attached to spacecraft and tested. The solar arrays will provide the required 1100 Watts of power to the spacecraft systems. This picture shows both array wings in their final stowed positions in September 2005.
