The HRSC on board ESA's Mars Express spacecraft obtained this colour image on 20 June 2004 during orbit 530 with a ground resolution of approximately 31.4 metres per pixel.
The scene shows the region of Claritas Fossae, covering an area roughly 200 km by 1150 km centred approximately at 258° East and 32° South.
This is a high-resolution image of the Claritas Fossae region on Mars, further to the one which was published on 31 March 2004.
This image was created by ESA Science from data contained in the Mars Express public archive. The selected colour scheme is an interpretation based on the original raw data.
