Satmex 6 arrives at Rochambeau

Satmex 6 arrives on 21 April 2006 at Rochambeau airport, Cayenne, waiting to be transported to the S5C launch payload facility and prepared for Ariane Flight 171 (V171) lifting off on 26 May 2006.

Satmex 6 was produced by Space Systems/Loral using the manufacturer's FS-1300X spacecraft bus, and it will be operated by Mexico's Satelites Mexicanos, S.A. de C.V.
