Subsidence map of Istanbul from satellite Persistent Scatterer Interferometry (PSI), with green representing stability, through yellow to high subsidence areas in red. Such historical motion measurements are generated using time series from the ERS satellites starting from 1991; recent and continuous measurements can also be provided by combining ERS observations together with ENVISAT ASAR data.
