Wetlands

Wetlands are the most biologically diverse ecosystems on Earth and are vital to the water cycle. GlobWetland – an ESA-led initiative in collaboration with the Ramsar Convention Secretariat – addresses the threats to wetlands, by using satellite imagery to provide detailed wide-area views of individual wetlands to aid national and local conservation efforts.
