Sweden seen from space

Sweden seen from space - a photograph taken by ESA astronaut Christer Fuglesang - the first Swedish astronaut to visit space - during the Celsius Mission. During a night pass on board the Space Shuttle, Fuglesang flew over northern Europe and took this photo of south Sweden. The Aurora can also be seen on the horizon, following the curve of the Earth.
