Eurobot manipulator tested under water

Testing the Eurobot ‘wet’ model in the Neutral Buoyancy Facility at the European Astronaut Centre in Cologne, Germany. Eurobot is seen moving around the outside of a model representing Europe’s Columbus laboratory, using the astronauts’ handrails to walk around autonomously. It demonstrates the interaction between a robot and a human by grasping a tool and handing it to the astronaut (shown nine times actual speed).
