A launch day ritual

Russian cosmonaut Roman Romanenko signs the door of suite 306 in the Cosmonaut Hotel at Baikonur Cosmodrome, Kazakhstan, on the morning of 27 May 2009. Romanenko is scheduled to launch to the International Space Station on the Soyuz TMA-15 spacecraft at 12:34 CEST, together with ESA astronaut Frank De Winne and Canadian Space Agency astronaut Robert Thirsk. Their arrival at the ISS on 29 May 2009 will increase the size of the Station's permanent crew to six for the first time.
