ESA astronauts new recruits

The six new recruits to the European Astronaut Corps at the European Astronaut Centre in 2009.
The new astronauts are:
Timothy Peake, from Chichester, UK.
Andreas Mogensen, from Copenhagen, Denmark.
Alexander Gerst, from Künzelsau, Germany.
Luca Parmitano, from Paternò, Italy.
Samantha Cristoforetti, from Milan, Italy.
Thomas Pesquet, from Rouen, France.
