Ariane 4 launch carrying a triple payload in 1988

The first launch of ESA's then new launcher Ariane 4 on 15 June 1988. Ariane 4, launched from Kourou, French Guiana, carried three satellites on its maiden flight: the European Meteosat P-2, the US Panamsat and the radio amateur satellite Amsat IIIC.
