The StarTiger-2 work on their external coronagraph demonstrator in the cleanroom at the Laboratoire Astrophysique d’Marseille. A simulated solar light source, occulter and coronagraph instrument is mounted onto the foreground optic bench, the instrument placed on top of a moveable hexapod on it to mimic satellite motion. Light is reflected off the background mirror to represent the planned operating distance between the two spacecraft of the external coronagraph.
