On 24 September 2010 ESRIN was open to the public until late in the evening for the European Researchers' Night 2010, offering to visitors of all ages presentations on ESA activities, practical demonstrations and guided tours of the multi-mission operation centre where data is received, processed and re-distributed, the Earth in 3D thanks to the magic of the Virtual Reality Theatre, and a visit to the ASI (Italian Space Agency) Science Data Centre premises hosted at ESRIN.
