Merapi SO2 plume movement (UV)

This animation shows the movement of Mt Merapi’s sulphur dioxide (SO2) plume from 4-14 November 2010 as seen by the GOME-2, SCIAMACHY and OMI instruments (each measuring in the ultraviolet part of the spectrum).

The animation was produced as part of the Support to Aviation Control Service.
