Snow temperature

The temperature of Greenland's snow in June 2004. This new information is a result of ESA's Support to Science Element Snow Radiance project. Archive data from Envisat's Advanced Along Track Scanning Radiometer were reprocessed using a new algorithm to improve our understanding of snow.
