Trees to be protected in South America

The start-up company Treems is building up a forestry management system to protect trees by combining elements such as data logging, monitoring and security with an integrated web portal. The trees to be protected are individually registered and monitored. To optimize this process Treems uses various types of remote sensing technologies. Treems GmbH is hosted at ESA Business Incubation Centre (BIC) Oberpfaffenhofen one year from July 2010.
