All winners with prize sponsors and organisers of the first GMES Masters Competition at the award event in the Allerheiligen Hofkirche of the Munich Residenz, Germany, 19 October 2011. The new Global Monitoring for Environment and Security (GMES) Masters competition was successful in its very first year, with over 100 proposals submitted between July and September 2011, from 17 countries.
