Swarm with boom open

As this photo shows, the magnetic tests are also carried out with the satellite’s boom extended (deployed). The three satellites of the Swarm constellation are identical. Each weighs 473 kg and is 9.1 m long (including the boom), 1.5 m wide and 0.85 m high.
