ATV-3 Solar Panels fully extended

One of four solar panels of the ATV-3 being checked in Europe's Spaceport in Guiana, where this third European unmanned space ferry is being prepared for its launch towards the International Space Station early next year. Named after the Italian physicist Edoardo Amaldi, the craft will carry about two tonnes of dry cargo, 285 kg of water and more than three tonnes of propellants.
