ESA astronaut André Kuipers posing in the Cupola module of the International Space Station during the PromISSe mission. The Cupola is an ESA-built observatory and was added to the Space Station in February 2010. The seven windows are used for experiments and observations but also offer breath-taking views for astronauts. It is a favourite place for off-duty astronauts to relax and take photos. The astronauts’ cameras can be seen amongst all the equipment and wires.
