Earth at dusk

Passing into the night time side of Earth. ESA astronaut André Kuipers took this picture from the International Space Station (ISS) during his PromISSe mission. The ISS takes only 90 minutes to orbit Earth. Astronauts on the Station can see over 12 sunsets and sunrises each working day.
