Expedition 30 crewmembers performing experiments

ESA astronaut André Kuipers and crewmates, Don Petitt and Dan Burbank (NASA), performing experiments in the US lab onboard the ISS. They have been investigating fluid levels, combustion processes and lung physiology during this batch of experiments.

André travelled to the orbital outpost in December 2011, and will remain in orbit for more than 6 months as part of ESA's long duration mission, PromISSe.
