Concordia air transport

The Twin Otter aircraft used to ferry personnel and supplies to Concordia base in Antarctica arrived 8 November 2012, nine months after the last plane left the base.

In between the research station was isolated from the world, no transport could arrive due to the freezing cold of temperatures as low as –80°C.
