Luca Parmitano Cupola

ESA astronaut Luca Parmitano getting ready to take a picture of Earth from 400 km high on the International Space Station. Luca is in ESA's Cupola module that is used to monitor approaching spacecraft but also offers stunning views of our planet.

Luca will spend six months on the International Space Station for his Volare mission.
