Motion of asteroid 2002GT over 5 hours in a 15x15 arcmin field of view. The asteroid is moving rapidly so the telescope is not following stars but the asteroid itself.

Bendjoya (1), L. Abe (1) and O. Suarez(1) from the Observatoire de la Côte d’Azur, France (1) and the Université de Liège, Belgium (2). The C2PU 1 m-diameter telescope is based in the Calern observatory of the Observatoire de la Côte d’Azur.
