Local ground stations in the Sentinel Collaborative Ground Segment are configured to receive Sentinel data as the satellite passes overhead.

The Collaborative Ground Segment complements the Copernicus Ground Segment and was introduced with the aim of exploiting the Sentinel missions even further.
