Orion test model

A test version of the Orion spacecraft at NASA's Operations and Checkout Facility on April 21, 2012. This test model is used for ground operations practice preparing for the first test flight.

Using Automated Transfer Vehicle technology proven in flight, ESA will contribute hardware and expertise to the Orion Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle.
